Guy F. Luke passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022 at the age of 99. Mr. Luke was a World War II Veteran as an aircraft repair technician. Upon his return, he began his career at General Electric where he worked for more than 50 years. Mr. Luke also served as a Commissioner on BELD’s Municipal Light Board for 25 years. He was very knowledgeable about the electric business and incredibly generous with his time. His commitment and dedication to the Light Department was unprecedented; very forward-thinking, never settling for the status quo. An inspiration to those around him, he worked tirelessly for the well-being of the residents of Braintree. He will be missed.
