Report an outage

BELD staff works hard to prevent customer outages. Because our electric and broadband services are monitored around the clock, we're usually made aware of interruptions—before you are—and are already working to restore service. But if you'd like to report an issue with any of your BELD services, please call us at 781.348.BELD (2353) or fill out the form below. In case of an emergency (life-threatening situation, downed line, or imminent danger) please call 911.

If you want to text an outage report please text your message to 781.348.6440 (message and data rates may apply) with all the necessary information: Name, address, outage information. Please be aware that our SMS messaging service is only monitored between the hours of 8-4 Monday—Friday. If you have any problems when texting us, please call us 781.348.BELD (2353) to report your outage. As always in case of an emergency (life-threatening situation, downed line, or imminent danger) please call 911.

When reporting an outage we are encouraging customers to send us imagery of any damages, infrastructure issues, and general community engagement. To do this, text us the image to 781.348.6440 (message and data rates may apply) with all the necessary outage/damage information: Name, address and any additional important information. At no time should you endanger yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws and in case of an emergency please call 911.
